Sharing Wisdom
The word Sapientia means Wisdom in Latin and represents the school’s ultimate objective for and commitment to our entire community: Children, parents and staff alike.
Education is not about accumulation of facts. True education is for life; its true aim is (or should be) to transition us from knowledge to wisdom; from information to transformation. Only worthy knowledge put into practice and aimed at improving the environments around us can be considered wisdom.
The core tenet in the Montessori Philosphy is that every child contains the innate skills, abilities, and qualities to achieve his or her highest potential; to be independent and grow his or her physical, intellectual, emotional and innate faculties to their fullest expression.
Sapientia Montessori School’s aim is to develop our children into joyful and confident individuals of outstanding academic prowess; with the highest character and integrity; creative and curious; of noble and service oriented qualities; and sensitive to their entire surroundings.
